Ce modèle peu connu (car rarement exporté), est un 4×4 d’abord destiné à l’armée italienne et aux administrations. Rustique et efficace, il évoque nettement la Jeep (pour la première génération) et la Land Rover (pour la seconde).
Ce dernier connaîtra plusieurs dérivés : Zastava en construira une version, et Saviem-Renault une petite série sous le nom de TRM 500.
