La dernière « Sunbeam » est un modèle classique conçu en Angleterre pour remplacer l’Hillman Imp, dont elle reprend une partie des motorisations, sur le soubassement très classique de l’Avenger. Elle sera pendant quelque temps intégrée dans la gamme française sous le nom de Simca (puis Talbot) Sunbeam, pour remplacer la Simca 1000, en attendant la Samba. Bien qu’esthétiquement proche de l’Horizon, elle n’a aucune pièce commune avec cette dernière. Les versions sportives TI et surtout Lotus méritent attention.FF
