Pour remplacer la Fr\u00e9gate, apr\u00e8s maintes \u00e9tudes infructueuses, Renault d\u00e9cida d’int\u00e9grer \u00e0 sa gamme une Rambler mont\u00e9e en Belgique dans ses usines de Haren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ce mod\u00e8le, en raison notamment de sa puissance fiscale et de sa consommation, \u00e9tait peu adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la client\u00e8le europ\u00e9enne et ne connut qu’un succ\u00e8s mitig\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

La Rambler Renault \u00e9volua de 1962 \u00e0 1966 \u00e0 l’instar de son homologue am\u00e9ricaine, et ces changements de carrosserie annuels ne firent rien pour rassurer les clients fran\u00e7ais.<\/span><\/p>\n

En Argentine, la Rambler connut une seconde carri\u00e8re jusqu’aux ann\u00e9es 80 sous le nom de Torino, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 restyl\u00e9e par Pininfarina.<\/span><\/p>\n
