Les gros coup\u00e9s Lincoln (depuis 1970 jusqu’en 1998) descendent d’une lign\u00e9e illustre, de la premi\u00e8re Continental des ann\u00e9es 40 \u00e0 la Mark II de 1956. L’aspect sportif est purement symbolique, le luxe est \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 l’am\u00e9ricaine\u00a0\u00bb c’est \u00e0 dire nourri abondamment de mati\u00e8re plastique… mais c’est l’Am\u00e9rique.
\nPour ne rien simplifier, entre 1958 et 1960, des Mark III \u00e0 Mark V (qui \u00e9taient simplement des versions luxueuses de la Continental) avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 produites, mais Ford a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 recommencer le d\u00e9compte \u00e0 Mark III en effa\u00e7ant celles-ci !<\/span><\/p>\n
