La s\u00e9rie Consul \/ Z\u00e9phyr re\u00e7oit pour 1956 une nouvelle carrosserie bien plus moderne, m\u00eame si elle est de toute \u00e9vidence inspir\u00e9e de la Ford Vedette fran\u00e7aise sortie un an plus t\u00f4t (et devenue Simca entre temps). La Zodiac, qui \u00e9tait initialement une version luxueuse de la Z\u00e9phyr, gagne sa place dans la gamme comme mod\u00e8le \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re. Les carrosseries restent, comme pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, des berlines portes et cabriolets, mais un break viendra les rejoindre en fin de carri\u00e8re (Jusque l\u00e0, les artisans seuls proposaient ce type de conversion)… ainsi qu’un rarissime pick-up.<\/span><\/p>\n
