Hudson est un constructeur fond<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0en 1909 et ayant connu un grand succes dans les annees 20, avec des marques supplementaires : Essex en 1919 qui devint Terraplane en 1932 pour occuper l<\/span>‘<\/span>entr<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>e de gamme. En 1948, une nouvelle carrosserie dite \u00ab\u00a0Step down\u00a0\u00bb surbaiss<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>e fut une des plus modernes de l<\/span>‘\u00e9<\/span>poque, au point d<\/span>‘\u00ea<\/span>tre copi<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>e par les autres constructeurs. Son bon accueil par le public ne suffit pas a garantir la perennit<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0de la marque, malgr<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0l<\/span>‘<\/span>ajout du modele sportif Hornet. Une compacte, la Jet, lanc<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>e en 1953, fut un echec total et fut retir<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>e rapidement de la production. En effet, Hudson fusionna avec Nash en 1954, ou plutot fut absorb<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>e par cette derniere, et les Hudson jusqu<\/span>‘<\/span>en 1957 ne furent plus que des Nash rebadg<\/span>\u00e9<\/span>es.<\/span><\/p>\n
