Bruce Meyers inventa le Dune Buggy en 1964, et le commercialisera \u00e0 partir de 1965 avec un grand succ\u00e8s d’image qui inspirera beaucoup de copies dans le monde entier. La justice am\u00e9ricaine consid\u00e9rant le principe du buggy comme \u00ab\u00a0non brevetable\u00a0\u00bb, Meyers perdit les proc\u00e8s contre ses concurrents. La seule solution \u00e9tait de diversifier la gamme (Manx 2 au design sp\u00e9cifique… \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s copi\u00e9 !) et Tow’d r\u00e9serv\u00e9 \u00e0 un usage non-routier du fait de sa structure ultra-simplifi\u00e9e (Sorte d’anc\u00eatre des quads actuels… mais fourni avec une barre de traction pour \u00eatre remorqu\u00e9 jusqu’au terrain de jeu). Mais les difficult\u00e9s financi\u00e8res et fiscales entra\u00een\u00e8rent la fin de l’aventure en 1971.<\/span><\/p>\n
