Bien que peu connue aujourd’hui, la marque Rosengart (ou S.I.O.P.) a compt\u00e9 parmi les plus populaires en France avant-guerre. Elle sera anim\u00e9e par Lucien Rosengart de 1928 \u00e0 1955, ce dernier \u00e9tant entre autres… l’inventeur du baby-foot ! D’abord bas\u00e9e sur des d\u00e9riv\u00e9s d’Austin Seven, de plus en plus am\u00e9lior\u00e9s, la gamme re\u00e7oit un flagship embl\u00e9matique avec la superbe Supertraction. Apr\u00e8s la Lib\u00e9ration, la situation fut moins glorieuse. La Supertrahuit ne put \u00eatre commercialis\u00e9e, et les Vivor, Robor et Labor n’\u00e9taient que des succ\u00e9dan\u00e9s des LR2 ET LR4 des ann\u00e9es 30. L’Ariette lanc\u00e9e en 1951, plaisamment dessin\u00e9e par Philippe Charbonneaux, mais toujours dot\u00e9e de l’an\u00e9mique\u00a0 moteur Austin datant de 1922, ne pouvait lutter face aux modernes Renault 4cv et autres Panhard Dyna… et s’effacera apr\u00e8s un ultime baroud sous forme de la Sagaie avec moteur flat-twin Panhard.<\/span><\/p>\n
